This dataset contains circuit documentation and measurement artefacts related to the experimental comparison of two driver topologies used in a 12 W E27 retrofit LED lamp. The dataset supports the experimental analysis presented in the study investigating the impact of LED driver topology on input-current harmonic distortion and power-quality characteristics in residential lighting systems. Two representative driver architectures are included: • LPF driver (Low Power Factor capacitive driver)• HPF driver (High Power Factor boost-PFC driver) The LPF topology represents a low-cost capacitive front-end commonly used in inexpensive LED lamps, whereas the HPF topology employs an active power-factor-correction stage designed to improve power factor and reduce harmonic emissions. The dataset includes: • Driver circuit documentation• Through-hole PCB layouts• Controller IC datasheets• Oscilloscope waveform images of the input current These materials enable researchers to understand the hardware implementation and measurement context of the harmonic distortion results reported in the associated study.
