东北地区面临新一轮振兴发展机遇，突出性人口问题已成为东北地区经济社会发展的主要限制因素。本数据集反映了1970年黑龙江省各县市人口分布情况，包含农业人口、年末总人口和乡村人口三个指标，可为黑龙江省的人口空间分布现状、特征及演化规律等研究提供数据支撑。

Northeast China is currently facing a new round of revitalization and development opportunities, while prominent population issues have become the primary constraint to its economic and social development. This dataset documents the population distribution across counties and cities in Heilongjiang Province in 1970, covering three indicators: agricultural population, total year-end population, and rural population. It can provide data support for studies on the current status, characteristics and evolutionary patterns of the spatial distribution of population in Heilongjiang Province.
