Determination of Bioactivity and Antimyeloma Effects of Various Cyanobacteria (BIOMCYA)

In this project, the biochemical composition, antioxidant and antimyeloma activity of Cyanobacteria members, which can produce a wide variety of bioactive substances, were determined and a cyanobacteria species containing a bioactive component that can be used in cancer treatment was identified. The accuracy of these results was proved by the elucidation of some of the biochemical pathways occurring in the cell in the process of anticancer activity of the identified species by transcriptomic analysis.
