Hunting and Wildlife Reserves in the Cher department

A Wild Hunting and Wildlife Reserve (RCFS) is one of the protected natural areas (ENPs) that are designated or managed in an international, Community, national or local framework with a view to achieving specific objectives for the conservation of natural heritage.Whunting and wildlife reserves are terrestrial or marine areas intended to protect the natural habitats of endangered species including, in particular, migratory bird populations, and to promote the development of tools for the management of species and their habitats, with the aim of sustainable hunting development in rural areas.They are created by prefectural decree, either at the request of the holder of the hunting right, or at the initiative of the departmental or inter-departmental federation of hunters, when it comes to supporting actions of general interest. Hunting is prohibited, except for regulatory actions necessary to maintain biological and agro-sylvo-cynegetic balances.Legal references: Articles L422-27 and R422-82 to R422-91 of the Environmental Code.
