SECURITY PAPER， PRODUCTION METHOD and SECURITY DOCUMENT PRODUCED BY the SAID PAPER

The invention relates to security paper， to a security document produced from said paper and to the method for producing same， combining window thread security elements and high-contrast single-tone watermark technology. For this purpose， high-contrast single-tone or electro-type watermarks are inserted into the recesses created in order to cover the thread in the areas in which it is visible， which areas contain more fibres and， as such， form dark areas in the end paper.
