Titanium isotope and elemental data and Monte Carlo mixing code for Antarctic cosmic spherule batches
收藏资源简介:
- Table1_O_isotope_classification.csv: Table 1 of the paper. Share of carbonaceous (CC) and non-carbonaceous (NC) cosmic spherules by size and texture, based on published O isotope data (references in the paper). Values in brackets: range when all ambiguous particles are assigned to that reservoir / to the other one. 16O-poor particles are counted as CC.- Table2_elemental_concentrations.csv: Table 2. Elemental concentrations of the six cosmic spherule batches, published literature values (BO-type and C-type cosmic spherules; UB-N; JP-1) and the reference materials UB-N and JP-1 measured here; one row per element and sample. Values are normalised to the Al concentration of CI chondrites (0.85 wt%); UB-N and JP-1 to their literature Al. Unit: wt% (Al, Ca, Ni, Mg, Fe, Cr, Mn) or µg/g (all other elements). one_SD = 1 standard deviation, empty if measured once; flag "<LOD" = below detection limit.- Table3_Ti_isotope_compositions.csv: Table 3. Ti isotope compositions of the batches and reference materials: ε46Ti, ε48Ti, ε50Ti with 95% confidence intervals and the number of measurements (n_measurements). ε iTi = [(iTi/47Ti)sample / (iTi/47Ti)standard − 1] × 10^4 [standard: fill in].- Table5_MonteCarlo_solutions.csv: Table 5. Number of accepted Monte Carlo solutions per batch and the mean contribution (%) and 95% range (2.5th–97.5th percentile) of CC and NC sources.- TableS1_sample_batches.csv: Table S1. Number of cosmic spherules per batch and collection site (Walnumfjellet, Widerøefjellet, Belgica Mountains), texture type (BO, C, S = silicate, mixed textures) and size fraction. - Ti_MonteCarlo_mixing.ipynb: Jupyter notebook of the Monte Carlo mixing model. Simulates 10,000,000 mixtures of seven chondrite groups (fixed random seed 20260930), keeps those that match the measured Ti isotope composition of each batch, and reproduces Tables 4 and 5 and Figure 7.- README.md: description of the model, inputs, outputs and requirements.
