Hydrographic survey was conducted by the China-Mozambique International Joint Cruise through the R/V “Xiang Yang Hong 10” in June 1–23, 2016. CTD measurement by Seabird 911 at nine sampling stations was conducted. Along the cruise track, current profile from near surface to approximate 1000 m was measured by a Shipboard Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (SADCP), namely 38kHz Ocean Surveyor (OS38).
