Elderly patients' experiences of having pressure ulcers.

The purpose of the study is to describe elderly patients' experiences of having pressure ulcers, with the aim of giving nurses an increased understanding of the suffering and burdens pressure ulcers give.
The sample of patients is elderly persons (over 60 years) with pressure ulcers. 3 hospitals as well as multiple institutions for elderly was contacted via mail. The staff at the institutions selected relevant interviewees according to the appropiate criterias (pressure ulcers, oriented and conscious). All institutions are located in the eastern region of Norway.

Note that interview nr. 7 is missing. A total of 11 interviews was conducted, but only 10 are used as interview nr.7 didn't fulfill the appropiate criterias for participation in the project. The interview is has not been printed because of said reason.
