Data and source studies for: From Spat to Survival: a systematic review and reporting framework for coral settlement and recruitment studies

This dataset supports the manuscript “From Spat to Survival: a systematic review and reporting framework for coral settlement and recruitment studies.” It contains extracted methodological and reporting information from published coral settlement and recruitment studies included in a systematic review of field-based studies using temporary settlement surfaces. The repository package includes the original workbook, raw extracted data exported from the workbook, cleaned extracted records, a data dictionary, a full citation list of the studies used as data sources, a search strategy and screening summary, and a manifest describing all files. The dataset includes 131 unique coded studies and 171 extracted data records. Missing or unreported information is coded as NS, meaning “not specified.”
