This dataset includes the two spreadsheet (.xlsx) tools that can be used for routine engineering evaluation of liquefaction-induced settlement of ground and buildings on shallow foundations using the Cubrinovski-Dhakal method. The two spreadsheets provided are:
(1) "Two-Layer Model": Convert any CPT profile to an equivalent two-layer computational model
(2) "Settlement Calculations": Compute liquefaction-induced settlement using two-layer model parameters
The spreadsheets are pre-loaded with one example case. Users can delete the provided example and input their own data to perform analyses.
Guidance on the use of the spreadsheets are provided in their respective "Guidance" tabs. Model users are referred to related journal publications (provided below and in the "Guidance" tab) for details regarding model development, mathematical relationships, accuracy, and example application.
