To elucidate the possible mechanisms or proteins responsible for certain formation of membrane protrusions or certain phenotypes that are important for the process of bone metastasis, we want to compare parenteral (MDA-MB-231) with its derivatives that are either non-osteotropic (MDA-MB-231BRAIN) or osteotropic (MDA-MB-231MET and MDA-MB-231BONE). Another objective is to describe different strategies of bone homing by comparing both osteotrophic clones.
