资源简介:

This is companion material for Janzon et al (2026), in which we ran some tests of Rain-on-Snow simulations with modifications to the Noah-MP code within the coupled WRF-ARW NWP model. The directory for the WRF code is included in this material (WRF.zip), which includes the modified model code. This should be able to be compiled as normal, creating the necessary executables to run WRF. Also included are examples of the namelists for WRF and Noah-MP (namlist.input and MPTABLE.TBL, respectively) to run WRF with this configuration. The settings are included in the paper for the different experiments. The processed model output is included in 12202013_mod.mat.zip, 02272009_mods.mat.zip, and 03132019_ctrl200_new.mat , in addition to the era5_matstruct.mat , which is the era5 processed data used in the comparisons. ks_tests.py.rtf is the Python code used to run the two sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test to test for stastistical significance. The scripts that were used to post-process the data for the figures in the paper are in forJAMESpaper.zip. Please contact erik.j.janzon@gmail.com if you have any questions about how to uses these scripts.
