Baseline images of Daphnia magna interactions with mineral oil droplets

Laboratory results from high-speed digital video recordings observing tethered micro-crustaceans generating feeding currents and advecting suspended oil droplets. Ingestions, rejections, as well as avoidance movements were observed. The data set contains the time series (250Hz) of pictures of Daphnia magna feeding on 10-15 micrometer mineral oil droplets
