RNA sequencing of mouse brain metastasis tumors and microglia. Mus musculus strain:C57BL6J

Metastatic brain tumor model mice were created by injecting mCherry-expressing CMT167 cell lines into the internal carotid artery of C57BL/6J mice. The tumor cells in these mice were isolated and collected over time during the tumor formation process, and RNA sequencing was performed. This enabled the identification of factors that are advantageous for metastasis formation. Furthermore, at the 7 days after tumor cell injection, mCherry incorporated microglia were isolated from the cerebral cortex of the mice, and RNA sequencing was performed. The transcriptome was compared to those from healthy microglia to explore the enriched gene expression profiles.
