This article analyzes the role of small business and private entrepreneurship in ensuring employment and the factors influencing their development in the economy of Uzbekistan. The study highlights the importance of the small business sector in creating new jobs, increasing household incomes, maintaining labor market balance, and promoting economic activity. The article examines government programs, economic reforms, financial support mechanisms, and measures aimed at improving the entrepreneurial environment for the development of small business and private entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan.
