Data from the application for agricultural support

The state of Brandenburg and the EU provide support for rural development. In order to make use of these funds, farms must submit annual land-based agricultural aid applications. The application data are created digitally on the basis of the field block register (DFBK). In the field blocks, farms digitise the landscape elements and impacts they want to work on. The punches are assigned attributes such as culture type, land use, bindings (restrictions) and size according to which the funding is calculated. Only one type of culture is assigned to the beatings. Possible types of landscape features can include hedges, rows of trees, fieldlines, wetlands. For the final calculation of the funding, further indicators are necessary, such as the size of the total area of the holding, number of crops, young farmers’ premiums, small farmers scheme.
