Supplementary dataset: Empirical materials and data sources analysed for the development of the Urban Climate Experiments framework

This dataset provides a structured inventory of the empirical materials analysed in support of the conceptual framework presented in the article “Urban Climate Experiments – Towards a Conceptual Framework.” The repository includes a categorized list of 55 documents drawn from three illustrative cases (Stockholm, Vienna, and Munich), including municipal and national policy documents, academic publications, research reports, media coverage, and informal communications. These materials were used to inform and illustrate the framework's analytical components. The dataset is provided for transparency and replicability purposes. The article itself advances a conceptual synthesis rather than an exhaustive empirical case analysis
