Morphological habitat quality 2016

The morphological habitat quality 2016 is a derivation from the water structure data 2016. An evaluation of the habitat index components with regard to their quality for the water is carried out. For this purpose, for each single, structurally mapped section, each of the components flow, sole and shore is compared with a set limit of 3.5. This results in a differentiated representation at which of the sections one, two or all components have complied with this limit value. The highest quality (very high) for the water has those sections where all components comply with the limit value. But also the lines without components that have been met are evaluated once again on the basis of an altered limit and on the basis of the hollow substrate and rated as “low” to “fully degraded”.
