Sex-aware genomic resources - Mappability files

The aim of this resource is to provide researchers a set of mappability files for sex-aware study. Current mappability files may yield reduced mappability values in regions shared between X and Y chromosomes (PAR regions, XTR and other fine-grained regions). Therefore, to obtain "realistic" mappability values, the best strategy set is to obtain such mappabilities based on XX or XY-adapted genomes (derived from this project - 10.5281/zenodo.21442232) depending on the sample karyotype. This resource includes BigWig (.bw) files of several assemblies (human GRCh38 and GRCh37 from ensembl, and T2T from UCSC; mouse GRCm39 and GRCm38 from ensembl) calculated at several k values (24, 36, 50, 100, 150), with single read and multi read options.
