Investigating diversity in polymer-based identity cards using ATR-FTIR spectroscopy and chemometrics

This dataset was collected by Jasmine McGann and Meg Willans at Curtin University and the Australian Synchrotron, Clayton, Victoria in 2017-2019. Plastic identity cards were analysed by ATR-FTIR spectroscopy, with chemometric analysis carried out to investigate variations in their chemical composition. Specific structural and chemical differences were further investigated using high-resolution infrared imaging at the IRM beamline, Australian Synchrotron, Clayton, Victoria. Chemometric analysis was carried out using Unscrambler X v11.208 raw spectra files (SPA format), 1 Excel file containing pre-processed spectral data, 1 Unscrambler X file containing data analysis.
