AIM-500, whose full name is Automatic Image Matting-500, is the first natural image matting test dataset. It includes 500 high-resolution real-world natural images. The images fall into three types: salient opaque foregrounds, salient transparent/clean foregrounds, and non-salient foregrounds, as well as multiple categories.
