Bible Simplification: Bible Verse Pairs Dataset for Text Simplification

This dataset is a collection of 397,000 Bible verse pairs for the purpose of training and evaluating text simplification models. Each of the verses in the input text column comes from the following translations: Bible in Basic English, Darby Translation, Douay-Rheims 1899, English Majority Text Version, Free Bible Version, God's Living Word Translation, King James Version, Literal Standard Version, Septuagint in American English 2012, NET Bible, Nyangumarta English Bible, George Noyes Bible, Open English Bible, Tyndale New Testament, Unlocked Literal Bible, Noah Webster Bible, The World Messianic Bible, Wycliffe's Bible with Modern Spelling, and Young's Literal Translation. The target text is a verse from the Easy-To-Read Version.
