Images and GIS Data from an Archaeological Evaluation at Ducklington Solar Farm, Witney, Oxfordshire, November to December 2021

This collection comprises images and GIS data from an archaeological evaluation of land at the proposed site of Ducklington Solar Farm, Witney, Oxfordshire. This work was undertaken between November and December 2021 by Cotswold Archaeology. A total of 102 trenches were excavated. The work revealed a ring ditch of Early to Middle Bronze Age date, dispersed features of later Iron Age and Roman date (including ditches and associated pits), post-medieval/ modern agricultural use of the site, and undated features were identified across the site (including isolated pits and ditches of a probable agricultural nature).
