The Great Wall Station was established on February 20, 1985, and is situated on King George Island of the South Shetland Islands. Its geographic coordinates are 62°12′S and 58°57′W. This dataset comprises ice core measurement data collected at the Antarctic Great Wall Station. Ice cores are cylindrical samples drilled from the interior of glaciers.
