EddyHeath_Interrim

This dataset is an interrim release with selected summary data produced by SmartFlux2 under default configuration settings. For corresponding, quality-controlled data, please refer to “EddyHeath” if available for the relevant period. The EddyHeath station measures carbon dioxide fluxes via eddy covariance method at a dry heath site (26 m.a.s.l.) close to the InteractHeath (Meteorology, Soil Properties, Snow Properties; 2011-) and the former station SPA (Snow Properties; 2013-2020). The station was established in 2012 and originally instrumented with a LI7200 CO2/H2O closed-path gas analyzer (2012-2024) and Gill HS-50 sonic anemometer (2012-). In 2024 the station was upgraded with a LI7200RS CO2/H2O closed-path gas analyzer and a SmartFlux2 processing system (2024-). This dataset contains non-quality-controlled fluxes of CO2, LE and H; CO2- and H2O concentrations; friction velocity; wind speed and -direction. The station logs at a frequency of 10 Hz and data are aggregated as 30-minute averages (UTC-3 West Greenlandic Winter Time). From 2012 to 2023, data were collected only during the summer field season (approximately May–October) due to winter power limitations. Since 2024, continuous year-round data collection has been enabled, though occasional data gaps remain in the dark months from November to February.
