资源简介:
The PATH Project is a longitudinal study that aims to measure the systemic patterns of anxiety and depression across an adult life span, focusing on different influential factors such as gender, occupation, personality, physical health, brain changes and genetics. The study, which began in 1999, will be conducted every four years with the same participants over a twenty year period. In 1999, the 20-24 year old cohort was interviewed, with the 40-44 year olds interviewed in 2000, and the 60-64 year olds interviewed in 2001. This dataset relates to Wave 1 of the study, which was completed in 2002. Variables include health/medical problems, levels of daily activity, levels of energy, emotional issues, vitamin/supplements intake, consumption of medication, feelings of anxiety or depression, alcohol/drug consumption and relationships with family and friends, as well as questions which measured the participant’s memory. Background variables include gender, age, marital status, highest level of education achieved, employment status and number of children.
