Resources dedicated to R & D: Enterprises by region, size and technology intensity

This dataset presents the financial and human resources devoted to research and development in companies by region, year, size and technological intensity. The data source The results are derived from the survey on the resources devoted to research and experimental development in France among companies. This survey is carried out by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MESR) at the sub-directorate of information systems and statistical studies (SIES). The survey is carried out with around 9,000 companies (12000 legal units) carrying out R & D work on French territory. All results are final. Statistical confidentiality is applied to all variables. Units of account Domestic R & D expenditure (DIRDE indicator code) is expressed in thousands of euros. The R & D workforce (EFFRDE) and the number of R & D researchers and engineers (CHERCH_RD_E) are expressed in FTEs.
