Dataset for "Atomic thermometry in optical lattice clocks"

Experimental dataset supporting the study “Atomic thermometry in optical lattice clocks” (arXiv:2508.08164). It includes temperature measurements of ultracold Yb atoms in the optical lattice clock IT-Yb1, obtained via sideband and Doppler spectroscopy under varying lattice depths. The dataset includes atoms cooled to a few μK using Sisyphus cooling techniques. Temperatures are extracted using both the harmonic oscillator and Born–Oppenheimer models. The corresponding lattice light shifts for each temperature model are calculated and compared. The Python code used for data analysis and simulations is available on github. The folders Sideband_D_NoSis, Sideband_D_Sis, and Sideband_Tcool contain sideband spectra obtained without Sisyphus cooling, with 50 ms of Sisyphus cooling, and with variable Sisyphus cooling time, respectively. In particular:In the Sideband_D_NoSis folder, files 063–070 were taken with different lattice powers.In the Sideband_D_Sis folder, files 071–078 were taken with different lattice powers. In the Sideband_Tcool folder, files 036, 041-049 were taken with different Sysiphus cooling time, i.e., 0 ms, 1ms, 2ms, 5ms, 10ms, 20ms, 50ms, 100ms, 200ms and 500ms. The folders Doppler_NoSis, Doppler_Sis, and Doppler_Tcool contain Doppler spectra obtained without Sisyphus cooling, with 50 ms of Sisyphus cooling, and with variable Sisyphus cooling time, respectively.
