Digital Archive from an Archaeological Strip, Map and Sample Excavation at The Former Inwoods House, Ashlawn Road, Rugby, Warwickshire, September 2024

This collection consists of images, a vector graphic, a spreadsheet and site record data from an archaeological Strip, Map and Sample Excavation carried out by University of Leicester Archaeological Services. Work occurred at the former Inwoods House, Ashlawn Road, Rugby, Warwickshire, in September 2024. As well as further evidence for the ditches recorded during the trenching, Area 3 found a series of multi-phased ditches and gullies. The stratigraphy and artefacts along with environmental evidence suggest that this might relate to a slightly earlier phase and could potentially indicate localised settlement activity in this area of the site.
