NEW BORN SHOCKS IN A NEAR-BY EARY PHASE MERGING CLUSTER

CIZA J13584750 is one of the nearby early phase major merger clusters ofgalaxies. It has two distinct humps and a bright bridge region in between.With Suzaku temperature jump, XMM snap shot and Chandra images, we detected aMach sim1.4 shock in the bridge, with a narrow 120.. wide hump consideredto be the postshock region between the forward and reverse shocks. Here wepropose a deep ( 90 virgulks) XMMNewton observation to resolve the temperaturestructure in the postshock region. Since the shock age is estimated to be asyoung as 70 virgulMyr, which is 1/3 of the electron Coulomb heating timescale tau_{c} , with the temperature distribution resolved in 24.. slices, we areable to determine the actual heating timescale to be shorter than 1/8 tau_c . truncated!, Please see actual data for full text [truncated!, Please see actual data for full text]
