The Ess1 prolyl isomerase is required for the transcription termination of small non-coding RNAs via Nrd1 pathway

Genome-wide studies have identified abundant small, non-coding RNAs including snRNAs, snoRNAs, cryptic unstable transcripts (CUTs), and upstream regulatory RNAs (uRNAs) that are transcribed by RNA polymerase II (pol II) and terminated by a Nrd1-dependent pathway全基因组研究已鉴定出大量小型非编码RNA，涵盖由RNA聚合酶II（RNA polymerase II，pol II）转录、并经依赖Nrd1的通路终止的小核RNA（small nuclear RNAs，snRNAs）、小核仁RNA（small nucleolar RNAs，snoRNAs）、隐秘不稳定转录本（cryptic unstable transcripts，CUTs）及上游调控RNA（upstream regulatory RNAs，uRNAs）。
