Citizen survey — structural features (Linz)

“The Stadtsenat has decided on 2011-07-07 a new citizen survey, which was carried out by the city research Linz from the end of September 2011. As with the citizens’ survey in 2004, 45,000 Linz voters were invited to participate. In total, more than 9,100 people have responded. The aim of the survey was to obtain the opinion of the Linz population on various topics, to know their wishes and concerns. This gives policy and administration an essential basis for future decisions. The citizens’ survey was conducted for the first time in 2011 in the form of an Internet survey. The answers to the individual questions shall be presented in a differentiated manner according to the structural characteristics of gender, age, occupational status and education.”
