Metastable iron sulfide field-based incubations, Geochemical and microbial dynamics

This study extended laboratory-trialed AS soil treatment methods presented by Kononova et al. (2024) to a field setting. It utilized larger volumes of sediments (0.5 m3), exposed to environmental temperature fluctuations, and a regulated watering and drainage regime, for a period of two years to resolve biogeochemical dynamics and treatment effectiveness though scale-up under in-situ conditions.
