Transcriptome of pink Auricularia cornea cultivated from the aromatic baijiu lees of Luzhou Lao Jiao Co.,Ltd

This study established the successful cultivation of pink A. cornea using various baijiu lees substrates, demonstrating significant enhancements in biomass and fruiting body quality. The identification of an optimal substrate formulation, featuring washed or dried LZ1573 baijiu lees, corncobs, sawdust, and cottonseed hulls, was crucial in achieving higher yields and surface area. Integrating transcriptomic and metabolomic analyses revealed that specific metabolic pathways related to nutrient metabolism, energy production, and alcohol utilization played vital roles in growth regulation.
