Next generation sequecing data of a NSCLC patient

Next generation sequencing (NGS) was performed on the tumor DNA of a lung adenocarcinoma patient, revealing a fusion between VIT exon 2 and ALK exon 20 with a variant frequency of 10.32%. After one year of therapy, the patient remained in a stable disease state. However, the patient experienced a relapse and underwent a second NGS test. The results showed a fusion of exon 2 of VIT with exon 20 of ALK, with a variant frequency of 13.13%. Ultimately, the patient achieved a progression free survival of 16 months.
