Habitat selection data
收藏资源简介:
The binary response variable, "UseAvail" (1 = used, 0 = available), indicates if a cat used (GPS point) the land cover type or if it was available (randomly generated within the set boundaries at a ratio of 10:1). Predictor variables included each land cover type and whether it was used or not (1 = within the habitat, 0 = outside the habitat). Habitat types were obtained from the Southern Ontario Land Resource Information System (SOLRIS) v.3 (Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, 2019) and grouped as “impervious” (residential, industrial, commercial, and civic areas), “road” (highways and all other roads), “greenspaces” (recreational parks and various types of natural land cover), “agricultural” (tilled land and cultivated tree plantations), "water" (depth > 2 m), and “undifferentiated” (not mapped by the previous classes).
