The Outfit Choice Task as a novel method for measuring body dissatisfaction in women with eating disorders and healthy controls

This study developed a novel task to measure body satisfaction, and compared this method of measuring body dissatisfaction with existing measures, in healthy women (Study 1 and Study 2) and those with an eating disorder (Study 3). Study 1 was an online study of 244 women; Study 2 was a laboratory study of 93 women (pre-registered as Open Science Framework - https://osf.io/pwd36/); Study 3 was a case-control study of 30 women with an eating disorder and 30 women without an eating disorder.
