Corpus Composition and Coding Frame: Gender Equality in Education as a Development Tool – The Case of Afghanistan, Intervention 2001–2021

This deposit documents the corpus composition and coding methodology underlying a doctoral research programme on donor-driven gender-equality education reform in Afghanistan, 2002–2021, and the set of related, non-overlapping publications drawn from it (including the doctoral monograph). The formal analytic corpus comprises 77 documents (23 national, 54 international), purposively selected from an initial frame of 164 documents assembled from national ministries, bilateral and multilateral donor archives, UN agency repositories, and a national public-perception survey series. Documents were classified into a three-tier coding system (deep coding, selective coding, reference only) and a secondary epistemological-register layer (social constructionist, interpretivist, critical-feminist/post-colonial). This deposit contains: (1) a categorised summary table of corpus composition by document type and chronological sub-period; (2) an outline of the coding frame and tier criteria; (3) a list of citing publications, updated as each is published. Individual source documents are not included. This deposit is cited from the Data Availability statement of each related publication rather than reproduced separately in each one.
