Mus musculus Genome sequencing and assembly

Following an adaptation period of one week on the control diet, the mice were randomly assigned to one of six groups: control group (Ctr, n=21), model group (DSS, n=22), and experimental groups (D0, n=22; D3, n=21; P3, n=21; PD, n=21), with each group housed in seven cages (3-4 mice per cage). The Ctr group was administered sterile water for 10 consecutive days. The DSS, D0, D3, P3, and PD groups were given sterile water for 3 days prior to the experiment, followed by a 7-day treatment with a 3.5% DSS solution (Wt/Vol), which replaced the sterile water. Additionally, in the D0 group, the control diet was substituted with a 2% curcumin diet starting on the day of DSS induction and continued throughout the experiment. In the D3 group, the control diet was replaced with the 2% curcumin diet on the third day post-DSS induction and maintained for the remainder of the study. Group P3 received the 2% curcumin diet for 3 days preceding DSS induction, after which the control diet was resumed until the study's conclusion. The PD group was administered the 2% curcumin diet continuously from the start to the end of the experiment
