Modeling the Anaerobic Digestion Process of Palm Oil Mill Effluent Using Neural Networks

The modeling of anaerobic digestion (AD) plays a significant role in the AD industry for the prediction of AD outputs and process optimization. In this study, artificial neural network and physics-informed neural network were developed to model the AD process of palm oil mill effluent.The developed models are promising for the POME AD outputs prediction and have the potential to be applied to other wastewater AD processes.
