Magic2 Advanced classification of a portion of the hornet-tyrrhenian coast in the presence of Niches of potentially tsunamigenic landslides (GeoTIFF). (RNDT-Dataset) — Version 2.0

This document is one of the maps (GeoTIFF) that represent the advanced classification of the suscetivity of a coastal stretch of Tyrrhenian Calabria. Advanced level classification means the attribution of a degree of susceptibility (high, medium or low) to a coastal stretch by analysing the presence/absence of morphobatimetric elements interpretable as marine georisks, mapped in the sea portion overlooking the coast itself. In this case this map represents the suscetivity of the coast in the presence of Niches of potentially submerged tsunamigenic landslides. These elements derive from the data mapped in the MaGIC sheet of reference for this sector, possibly supplemented by bibliographical or other data (if in the possession of the individual research groups involved). Marine georisks are those processes or events of a geological nature whose effects can involve the seabeds and coasts, of which you can have a trace in the batimorphology of the seabed that has been reconstructed through the activities of the MaGIC project.
