Peat sediment core from a lake on Macquarie Island

This data set is based on a peat sediment core from near a small, unnamed lake on Macquarie Island. This core is designated as PLK1 in these notes. PLK1 is a 136.9 cm peat sediment core, collected in three sections 2018. It was analysed with a micro x-ray fluorescence (µ-XRF) core scanner at the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO), then sampled at 0.5 cm increments.
