Data set used for Verkade et al, 2013, Post-processing ECMWF precipitation and temperature ensemble reforecasts for operational hydrologic forecasting at various spatial scales, submitted to Journal of Hydrology

(1) 5-member ECMWF reforecast ensembles of precipitation and temperature for 134 HBV-basins of Rhine as well as streamflow ensembles for ~75 locations based on those ensembles. (2) Corresponding verifying observations. The data comprises input files for the Ensemble Verification System that is available without charge from the US National Weather Service, Office of Hydrologic Development. The locations correspond to the locations used within the FEWS Grade project at Rijkswaterstaat and Deltares.
