Wild boars — Wild boar 2015-2019

Wild boar maps consist of vector and raster data that present aggregated wild boar statistics over the five-year period 2015-2019. The material comes with a.lyr file that helps in visualisation and interpretation of the material. Variability densities are reported in raster files with different resolutions. Viltolycksfrequency is reported along the main road network and in designated areas with high accident rates. The frequency is calculated as the number of wild game accidents per kilometre per year over a period of five years. The material is based on reported wildlife accidents to the police and hunter reports according to the National Wildlife Council.
