The invention relates to a method for the production of soybean plants resistant to glyphosate and to diseases caused by fungi or oomycetes， by introducing two transgenic events， whose representative seeds were deposited under the accession numbers NCIMB 42724 or NCIMB 42725， in the genome of these plants. It is also related to a set of reagents， for the detection of nucleic acid corresponding to said transgenic events in a sample of soybean genomic nucleic acid， and to a method for the diagnosis of said events in a sample of soybean. With the transgenic events of the invention， it is possible to increase the yield of soybean cultivation in the field， so the invention contemplates a method to increase the field yield of the Dt84 soybean variety that includes the sowing of soybeans that comprise the transgenic event whose representative seeds were deposited under the accession number NCIMB 42724.
