Quantification was performed in infralimbic, prelimbic and anterior cingulate cortices of cocaine- and saline-treated rats after open arm exposure. Data are expressed as mean ± SEM of three rats from each group and represent the density of labeled cells/mm2 or the percentage of Fos-expressing cells containing the mRNAs coding for vGlut1 or GAD.
