Time-structured early diagenesis shapes sediment organic matter transformation and stabilization in a tropical lake
This dataset contains the data supporting the results of the above manuscript submitted to Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta. The data were obtained from sediment core LZ-C1 collected from Lake Izabal and were used to establish the chronological framework and to characterize bulk geochemical composition, elemental composition, and temperature-resolved molecular transformation of sedimentary organic matter during early diagenesis.
