本项目集基于超薄碳纸完成气体扩散层的制备及结构设计,在满足薄层化制备碳纸后,通过优化疏水处理工艺、调控微孔层浆料配置、完善微孔层涂覆制备气体扩散层;并采用独特的梯度孔结构与亲水改性设计,进一步提升气体扩散层性能。通过组装膜电极进行发电性能测试,并与东丽公司TGP-H-60碳纸进行类比,超薄碳纸装膜电极在0.6V下电流密度>1.2A/cm2;在全湿态、阴极为空气状态下,最高功率密度>1.0W/cm2,性能明显优于日本东丽公司TGP-H-60碳纸。此外还完成燃料电池电堆实装及应用测评,采用薄型碳纸的电堆体积功率密度比采用东丽TGP-H-060时提高>8%。

This project focuses on the fabrication and structural design of gas diffusion layers (GDLs) based on ultra-thin carbon paper. After achieving thin-layer fabrication of carbon paper, GDLs were prepared by optimizing the hydrophobic treatment process, regulating the microporous layer (MPL) slurry formulation, and improving the MPL coating procedure. A unique gradient pore structure and hydrophilic modification design were further adopted to enhance the performance of the GDLs. Membrane electrode assemblies (MEAs) were assembled for power generation performance testing, with comparisons made against Toray's TGP-H-60 carbon paper. The MEA using the ultra-thin carbon paper achieved a current density of >1.2 A/cm² at 0.6 V. Under fully humidified conditions with air as the cathode gas, its maximum power density exceeded 1.0 W/cm², which is significantly superior to that of Toray's TGP-H-60 carbon paper from Japan. Furthermore, actual installation and application evaluation of the fuel cell stack were completed. The volumetric power density of the stack employing the thin carbon paper was increased by >8% compared to that using Toray TGP-H-060 carbon paper.
