资源简介:
Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) is the most common cause of recurrent vertigo, but the exact pathogenesis still remains unknown. This study aimed to provide novel insights into a pathophysiology of recurrent BPPV using gene expression profiling combined with bioinformatics analysis. Total RNAs were extracted from peripheral whole blood cells of four AUV patients and four normal controls. Using the Affymetrix Human Clariom S Assay, the differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between BPPV and normal control samples were screened by the cut-off criteria (|fold changes| > 2 and p-value < 0.05). Functional enrichment analysis for DEGs was performed using Gene Ontology (GO) analysis, and the protein-protein interaction (PPI) network was constructed using the STRING database.
