资源简介:
The nuclear genome of Fagus sylvatica was resolved into 12 chromosomes. The chromosomes were between 28 Mb to 73 Mb in length.Multiple fragments of chloroplast and mitochondrial genome insertionwere identified. The telomeric repeats were found at both ends and centromeric repeats were found to be scattered throughout the genome apart from their main occurrence in each chromosome. The genome-wide distribution of SNPs was studied by comparing the data to a second individual from Poland. This genome adds to the available highly resolved plant genomes which can serve as a valuable basis forfuture research on genome architecture and for understanding the past and future of European Beech populations in a changing climate.
